Having observed the miniature things in God's creation, they pause. They cease their efforts to observe the natural. They place themselves in a comfortable position, even in the midst of God's creation, and are invited to contemplate the supernatural and to list the small things that God has placed in their lives, however small they may be. After a time of silence, they are invited to walk on the grass or field they have just explored. In awe and gratitude to God for this world beneath their feet, they pray aloud.

None

  1. Having observed the miniature things in God's creation, pause. Cease your efforts to observe the natural.
  2. Put yourselves in a comfortable position, even in the midst of God's creation.
  3. You are invited to contemplate the supernatural by listing the little things that God has placed in your life, however small they may be.
  4. After a period of silence, they are invited to walk on the grass or field they have just explored. They pray aloud in awe and gratitude to God for the world beneath their feet.
  5. When we get to the other side, let's gather in a circle to close with a time of short prayers, thanking the Creator for the little things in our lives that we sometimes overlook.

  • Beforehand, make sure you pick a place that is free of distractions, close to where you've been exploring, and comfortable to sit in afterward.
